Venice fave. Seasonal menus and fresh ingredients. Great place to bring visitors, but need to make resys in advance.

They are known for their bossam, but Everything is delicious here. Restaurant with a long history in ktown.

Pretty great jjajangmyun. They’re known for their spicy jjajangmyun and you can adjust the spice level 1-10.

Great kalguksu and yeolmu bibimbap + noodles.

Popular spot for seollongtang and stews of the like. Don’t recommend the $75 galbi jjim - you feel like you need to get it b/c it’s massive and everyone else seems to be getting it, but the actual flavor is mediocre and the meat meh. Just big and pricey and flashy.

Famous kalguksoo / sujebi restaurant with other oldschool menu items that taste like grandma’s cooking. Huge noodle portions, so I’d recommend sharing a bowl between two people and getting a different menu item to compliment.

Really flavorful szechuan dishes. Inside of the restaurant looks like a luxurious tea parlor (?) lounge (?) from China in the 20s. We always go here when we’re in midtown and love the shredded pepper beef and dry hot pot dishes.

Always hits the spot. Pho, banh mi, and bowls are all great. Generous portions and reasonably priced. Iced limeade is also worth getting. It’s more like a limeade slushie and super good.

Romantic, but low-key and cozy. Quintessentially Brooklyn. Amazing pasta - cacio e pepe was maybe the best I’ve had in NYC and their grilled bavette steak was great too.

Hidden gem and local favorite. Fish is always fresh and their rice is textured and flavored exceptionally well.
